Jenny
My name is Jenny and I'm the owner and manager. I started Larkfield Daycare 12 years ago as a childminding setting in my home on Larkfield Road. I am really proud of what it has become and how we have grown over the years. I started childminding so I could care for my first son Jamie and now my second son Elliot came to work with me until he started school in September 2022.
I have a Level 3 in childcare, SENCO Level 2, and qualifications in First Aid, Safeguarding, Autism awareness, and Management.
Robyn
Hi my name is Robyn and I'm deputy manager, I am NVQ level 3 qualified with first aid training, I have worked with children in different settings for over 10 years. I love working with children and being part of their learning and development and also watching them grow with their own individual personalities. I also have my own little boy Jake who is 6.
Lyn
My name is Lyn Beck I have been working at Larkfield Daycare for over 10 years. I am level 2 qualified, pediatric first aid, safe guarding, food hygiene, health and safety and have worked with children for over 40 years. I love my job as a nursery practitioner as I like to see the children reach all their milestones within our setting.
Kirsty
My name is Kirsty Dryhurst i am an 20 yeasr old, I have a level 2 in Health and Social care and am currently working towards my NVQ level 3 in childcare. I love working with children and seeing them grow, i find it very rewarding.
Sam
Sam started at larkfield 3 years ago, she completed her level 3 and is now at university doing her teacher training. She works at larkfield part time around her studies.
Chloe
Chloe joined us in February 2020, She has over 12 years experience working in nurseries and she has a Level 3 qualification in childcare.
Katie
Katie has been with us for 5 years now and previously worked in the childminding setting. She has completed her level 2 qualification and has very nearly finished her level 3, she works in our preschool room.
Sofia
Sophia joined us January 2021 on a traineeship, she went on to complete her level 2 and is now studying her level 3. Sophia works in rainbow room with our babies.
Hollie
Hollie started with us in January, she is doing her level 2 qualification in childcare and works in our toddler room.
Laila
Laila just started with us in April 2023, she is at college doing health and social care and she hopes to become a teacher. She is working part time around her studies and is currently working in our preschool room.
Niamh
Niamh has been working at larkfield for just over a year now, she has a level 2 in childcare and works in our toddler room.
Sandra
Hi my names Sandra, I started working here on the 9th August, I have really enjoyed being here and getting to know the children. My granddaughter attended Larkfield a couple of years ago so I already know the staff here. I previously worked in home bargain but i have plenty of experience with children after bringing up my own 5 children including triplets!
Sarah Jane
Sarah joined us in March 2023, she has her level 2 and 3 qualifications and has lots of experience working in nurseries and bringing up her own little girl.
Sian
Hi I’m Sian i am 20 from Liverpool and i joined Larkfield in november 2022. I have completed the first two years of a Psychology degree at Hope University achieving a 2:1 average both years but now i am taking time away for a career change and will be completing my Level 3 qualification at Larkfield and will be going back to university to study Early Childhood Studies with Social Work. I am familiar with children of all ages as my parents have been foster carers for many years. I am really enjoying working in the nursery and look forward to meeting you all.
