Larkfield Daycare is small, privately owned, Ofsted Registered Nursery and Pre-School based in Aigburth, Liverpool, with a maximum of 30 spaces. Our most recent Ofsted inspection graded us as ‘Good’ overall with Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare of the children graded as ‘Outstanding’.
We are accredited by Liverpool council and can provide 15 hours funded places for 3 and 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds. We can provide 30 hours for eligible 3 and 4 year olds.
We have a 5 star food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency. We have a green ‘RAG’ rating from Liverpool Council.
Our fees are all inclusive, we provide nappies, wipes, food, admissions fees and travel costs.
We do not usually accept unvaccinated children unless there is a medical reason.
We have a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio depending on children’s age
We are so much more than accreditations and certificates though.
We have a maximum of 1 adult to 4 children ratio for all ages under 5. For school age children it is 1 to 6. Our staff can have a maximum of 6 children in their care, for example 3 younger children and 3 school age children. We are under Ofsted guidance allowed higher ratios than this, but we choose to maintain this low ratio to enable us to remain safe on outings and enable staff to give your children plenty of time and attention.
